Business Objectives come in all shapes and sizes.  Personal Objectives even more so. They are  subjective and no two companies and no two people will strive for exactly the same thing. 

 

Our start point is to fully understand what these objectives are. This does not mean that we will just agree with them! To understand your objectives we will need to be clear on the underlying rationale. We will need to clarify your personal motivations not just your desired results. At the end of this process your objectives will be clearer. We will already have begun to determine whether both your business and personal objectives are feasible.

Determining whether your business is in the best state to be sold.

There is a well worn sentence “I can sell anything if the price is right”. While this is true to a degree, it is not our approach. Simply put, we always want to maximise the valuation of your business and that starts with determining whether your business is in the best state to be sold. We will develop An Exit Readiness Assessment which will objectively determine the current stage your company is in its life cycle. We will be totally candid with you with our findings and highlight any areas that need to be addressed if you are to achieve a successful sale of your company.

Whatever stage your business is at, we will help you on your value creation journey. We will invest our specialised skills and knowledge, network contacts, as well as capital into your business to take it to the next level. Our Operating Partners will develop an understanding of the inner workings of your company and develop a practical business plan to improve your business. Our approach will depend entirely on what the Exit Readiness Assessment revealed. We will review the integrity of all financial figures, assess the potential for product and customer diversification, evaluate the management team's strength, and assist with succession planning. We will prepare for the sale.

We will help you identify potential buyers and create a compelling sales pitch that will help  land you a sale; we will craft a business plan and valuation report for those buyers and we’ll support you in the selection of an excellent legal advisor. Finally, we will lead the negations of the Sales and Purchase Agreement ensuring that the price negotiations go as smoothly as possible. With our hands-on approach and proven track record of successful M&A transactions, we can ensure your sales journey, exit strategy or business change will meet all your expectations.
